日本で最も有名な赤ワインの一つ、オーパスワン。
　　ボルドーの格付けシャトーを知らなくても、オーパスワンの名前を聞いた事がある人は多いでしょう。ボルドー1級のシャトー・ムートン・ロートシルトのフィリップ・ド・ロートシルト男爵とナパヴァレーのロバート・モンダヴィが、ボルドー・スタイルのワインを造るという夢のために、ジョイント・ヴェンチャーを設立しました。初ヴィンテージはパリの試飲会3年後の1979年です。カリフォルニア・カルトワインの元祖的な存在です。　現在はコンステレーション・ブランズの傘下ですが、独立した形で経営されています。品質のカギを握るのは2001年に就任したワインメーカーのマイケル・シラーチです。UCデイビスとボルドー大で醸造を修めた彼が、収穫時の糖度を下げ、光学式選果機を導入し、マセラシオンの期間も短くしました。ヨーロッパ人にもアメリカ人にも評価される味わいをものにしています。2016年はブラックチェリー、リコリス、セージのアロマ、濃密でありながらフィネスのある味わいです。勝田商店で最も多くの在庫とヴィンテージを保有する人気ワインです
